We have a specialized team who apply various verification procedures on all healthcare professionals listed on TrakMD. Besides, all listed healthcare professionals provide us with their respective syndicate membership/license number.

TrakMD is 100% HIPAA compliant. TrakMD applies international data security standards to ensure the data privacy and security is stringently protected. TrakMD server is hosted on a secure, controlled, and robust cloud server. At TrakMD, we place appropriate technical, physical, and administrative safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of PHI. Besides, we place appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy of personal health information, and sets limits and conditions on the uses and disclosure that might be made of such personal health information without patient authorization. We also recognize the patients’ rights over their health information. At TrakMD, we have a culture of HIPAA, all employees are provided with HIPAA training programs, and we have agreements with any healthcare practitioner/covered entity to make sure patient health information is properly disclosed and protected.

Yes, you can do so by logging in to your account’s scheduled appointments. However, please note that canceling too many appointments may result in your account getting blocked as we have to ensure that doctors’ calendars stay accurate for other patients.

A TrakMD moderator needs to go over reviews posted, and that might take up to 24 hours. We thank you for your patience and understanding of how critical it is to maintain objective reviews.

TrakMD is absolutely free for patients.

Yes. All you have to do is mention who the appointment is for in the online booking form.

Your phone number is necessary for the registration process. It is important that we protect practices from fake accounts. However, we reiterate the fact that we will not share your personal information as explained in our privacy terms.

You will receive an email and an SMS text message once your appointment has been confirmed. You will also, later, receive a reminder of the appointment.

While we take great efforts to ensure that times listed on here by our doctors are accurate, we do make sure that there is a confirmation process. Once you book an appointment, you will receive a confirmation from the doctor’s clinic via email and SMS text message.

Although our aim is assisting you in making an appointment, you are free to browse doctors’ profiles and their availability hours. How exactly do I find the right doctor and make an appointment? You can do so simply by following the steps shown in this tutorial (link to video)

You can book a doctor depending on his availability hours’ slots at any given day and time.

If you think that you are unable to attend the appointment, you should cancel it with proper time remaining on our website or using TrakMD App. Or you may personally contact the doctor to prevent your account from being flagged.

Absolutely not! The doctor will charge you the same fees.

TrakMD is listing new healthcare professionals by the day. You can also contact our support at support@trakmd.com with the name of your doctor.

You do not need to provide your details again when you book an appointment the next time. With the login ID and password, you can book another appointment for yourself or any other family member. But you have to fill the patient details if he/she is new to TrakMD.

For Doctors:

TrakMD is very user friendly system with which you may experience the shortest learning curve. Your account can be set up in few minutes and your profile with online calendar can be instantaneously displayed to public. And right away, you can start charting patient visits.

Our training and support specialist team are very skilled and dedicated to be at your clinic or remotely providing individualized training to you and your staff. They are easily approachable and can be contacted any time using our hotline or Live Chat.

Not necessarily. You may operate TrakMD and manage your clinic on the go with your android or iOS smartphone or tab. For TrakMD billing module, it is best to operate on a PC or Mac.

Transferring your patient data file into TrakMD can be easily done via TrakMD’ Patient Import module available on your TrakMD Practice Management System. Or you may simply email us your patient data file (in Excel, CSV, or any other electronic format) at support@trakmd.com, and we can import all your existing data.

Yes, you can do this very easily and quickly, with a click of a button, by using TrakMD’ Patient Export module available on your TrakMD Practice Management System and you can get your patient data file ready to save on your computer. Or if you wish, you may send us your request by email to support@trakmd.com, and we can do the job for you.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription with TrakMD at any time. At this point, your subscription will last until the end of the current paid cycle.

Yes, you can. There are different roles and access privileges assigned to each user type either practitioner, secretary, or administrators. You can add unlimited number of user types at no additional cost except for practitioner type. For adding more practitioners, you need to contact us.

Yes, you can have unlimited number of locations at no additional cost.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. In case of upgrade, you only pay the difference from existing plan.

TrakMD is built on an open interface platform and it can be integrated with your clinic’s software. Our installation and integration team can help you with the system integration work eliminating the need for duplicate data entry.
